Apple App Store purchase history: guides and answers
Apple keeps a record of what you buy with your Apple Account (formerly Apple ID), but it spreads that record across several screens. These guides explain which screen answers which question, using Apple’s own documentation as the reference.

Which Apple screen do I need?
Most confusion comes from mixing up these screens. They look related, but each one answers a different question.

Five terms that are easy to confuse
- Purchase History is the transaction record: what was bought or downloaded, when, and for how much.
- Your Apps is the list of apps you can reinstall. It is about access to apps, not about payments.
- Hidden Purchases holds apps you removed from that app list. Apple says hidden apps still appear in your complete purchase history.
- Subscriptions is where recurring payments are managed. Past subscription charges also appear in Purchase History.
- Data & Privacy is Apple’s account-data tool. It gives you a downloadable copy of your data, not a live purchase screen.
