Privacy Policy
This policy covers exactly one thing: this pre-launch website. It is short because the site collects very little, and because the product it describes is designed so that your purchase data never reaches us at all.
What this site collects
If you join the early-access list, we store three things:
- Your email address — the one you type into the form.
- Your flow — whether you arrived via the "Get Pro" button or the free waitlist button.
- Your answer to the Takeout question — one optional multiple-choice answer ("yes", "yes if guided", "no") that helps us decide what to build.
That is the complete list. No account, no password, no name, no payment details.
Why we collect it
One purpose: the waiting list. Your email is used to notify you when — and if — App Purchase Vault launches. The flow type and the Takeout answer are aggregated to measure whether the project is worth building. We don't send newsletters, we don't share the list, we don't sell anything to anyone.
What this site never touches
Your Google Play history and your Google Takeout files are never collected by this website. There is no upload feature anywhere on these pages. The future app is being designed the same way: it would parse your export on your phone, locally — your purchase archive stays on your device. When the app exists, it will ship with its own privacy policy reflecting that architecture.
Who processes the data
- Formspree — delivers the signup form (email, flow, Takeout answer) to us. Formspree processes the submission on our behalf; their own privacy policy applies to their service.
- GoatCounter — privacy-friendly visit statistics. GoatCounter is configured without cookies and does not track you across sites; we use it to count visits and button clicks, not to profile anyone. No advertising tracker is used on this site, which is why there is no cookie banner.
- Hosting provider — serves these static pages; standard server logs may apply.
How long we keep it
Your email is kept until the launch notification is sent. If the project is abandoned, the list is deleted within 12 months. In all cases, you can ask for earlier deletion at any time (see below).
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete your email from the list at any time — before launch, after launch, whenever. One email to the address below is enough; no form, no procedure.
